(USA) Senior Technician, General Facilities Maintenance

Position Summary Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician at Walmart. The role involves maintaining and repairing facilities, equipment, and assets using a variety of trade skills, while ensuring safety and timely service to store associates. Key Responsibilities Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment) and using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs. Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders to support stores and store associates and document repair activities. Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls. Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues. Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely. Minimum Qualifications 18 years or older High School Diploma or equivalent Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report. Vocational or technical certification and 5 years of experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade, OR 7 years of experience in these trades. 1 year of experience using intermediate‑level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Can lift up to 75 lbs. Can move up and down ladders frequently. Comfortable working at heights frequently. Preferred Qualifications Eligibility for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
