Maintenance Mechanic – Temp to HireLocation: City Of Industry Pay Rate: DOE (Depends on Experience)
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Mechanic for a spice warehouse facility. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity for candidates with strong mechanical skills and experience working in warehouse or industrial environments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues
- Maintain and repair commercial refrigeration and cold storage systems
- Conduct general handyman and facility maintenance tasks as needed
- Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Follow all company safety and GMP guidelines
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with commercial refrigeration and cold storage systems
- FKL experience preferred
- General handyman and facility maintenance experience
- Experience working in warehouse, food production, or spice manufacturing environments
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and good attendance
- Flexible and team-oriented attitude
This is a temp-to-hire position with opportunity for long-term employment based on performance and attendance.
