Project Manager in IT Community Job Description:

The Project Manager will support efforts related to planning, project management, and resource allocation management to implement Strategic I.T. Initiatives, as defined by the contract.

Track project status by updating Project Schedules, tracking the progress of assigned work, and communicating with the relevant customer base for each project.

Involved in the coordination and management of activities required to achieve the defined Strategic objectives.

Provide recommendations to the Government to improve or implement processes to achieve the Strategic Initiatives defined by the Government.

Identify, initiate, and drive to closure additional key initiatives necessary for the team to run as an effective infrastructure organization.

Provide periodic status updates to the leadership team, the periodicity and format shall be defined by the government.

The candidate will identify and document any impediments that may affect the process of a project supporting the Strategic Initiatives defined by the contract.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or GED with 13-19 years of Project Management in I.T. Infrastructure and Operations environments.

Bachelor’s degree with 9-15 years of Project Management in I.T. Infrastructure and Operations environments.

Experience with I.T. specific project management; to include: gathering requirements, developing plans, presentation, resource management, and Operations management.

PMP certification and must have experience supporting the sustainment of an operations environment Required

Experience managing Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD)-sponsored task order contracts

Experience reviewing and analyzing financial expenditure reports

Project Management Institute certified Project Management Professional (PMP), DAWIA Level II, Program Manager or equivalent.

Candidate must have hands on experience with the customer’s information technology stack

Software Requirements: Windows, Linux. VMware, SNOW

Salary Range: $120,000 – $180,000

Competitive salary commensurate with clearance levels, unique expertise, critical skill sets, experience and qualifications. Additional pay stipend will be considered for qualifying candidates. Refer to our RACTSOL LCAT list for all salary ranges.

Time Off:

20(+) days of earned Paid Time Off (PTO) per year
