Nurse Practitioner- Hematology - Oncology

Description The Hematology Inpatient Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides advanced care to hospitalized patients with complex hematologic malignancies, including but not limited to leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma by implementing the appropriate "standardized procedures" (SP). The NP functions with a high level of autonomy as part of an interdisciplinary team that includes attending physicians and fellows. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for the comprehensive management of patients undergoing advanced therapies such as CAR‑T cell therapy, bispecific T‑cell engager (BiTE) therapy, participation in clinical trials, and standard chemotherapy regimens. This role also includes the medical management of treatment‑related toxicities and disease‑related complications. Salary range: NP2 : $93.81-$133.97/hourly NP1 (less than 6 months exp): $84.62/hourly Qualifications CA RN and CA NP License- required MSN/ DNP in NP Specialty -required ( Adult Acute Care NP Specialty ) National Certification in NP Specialty-required BLS certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association- required NP, State of CA NP Furnishing with Schedule II, Additional: NPI #, DEA #, Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES-required Hem/Onc NP experience- strongly preferred NP experience preferred but will consider new grad NPs with relevant hem/onc experience NP1 : less than 6 months exp ($80.34/hourly) Ability to utilize excel, word and other software programs -required Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical and academic personnel -required Skill in working independently and following through with minimum direction -required Ability to set priorities -required Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed and grammatically correct correspondence -required Document patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner -required #J-18808-Ljbffr Direct Jobs
