Barrier Beets, a vibrant all-day café in Long Beach, NY, is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. What You’ll Be Doing As a Line Cook at Barrier Beets, your day will be filled with exciting culinary tasks and responsibilities, including:
- Prepping proteins, dips, dressings, and other essential ingredients.
- Working the line to deliver fresh, healthy meals to our customers.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
- Upholding our commitment to nutrition and allergen safety (knowledge in these areas is a plus!).
We’re seeking a candidate who brings:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Fluency in English to ensure seamless communication.
- A clean, organized, and detail-oriented approach to work.
- A commitment to a drug- and alcohol-free workplace.
- A passion for healthy food and nutrition.
- Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
