Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of specimen collections and patient information.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors by focusing on process excellence and confidentiality.
• Perform daily tasks safely and efficiently under the supervision of the area supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients and staff.
• Handle forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing with confidence and precision.

Required Skills

• Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in keyboard and data entry tasks.
• Customer service experience in retail or service environments is preferred.

Additional Skills & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; over one year preferred.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime based on staffing needs.
• Must have medical training background and be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
