Manage and grow assigned territory by directing the team to maximize client’s sales goals, maintaining positive business relationships with distributors and customers, and striving for additional product introductions. Act as liaison between client’s strategic goals and distributor’s needs. Manage a territory with a volume over $500k annually. Achieve assigned KPIs, oversee and coach sales team to meet targets. Responsibilities Achieve specific KPIs using CRM to plan and report daily sales call activities. Drive company sales by aggressively marketing and presenting client’s product to customers, focusing on maximizing commission opportunities. Call assigned list of Large Leverage Operators (LLOs), set up sales presentations, build relationships and provide solutions to increase business. Follow ride‑with guidelines, plan and perform sales calls adhering to company standards. Manage client marketing plans with distributor to maximize sales potential. Prepare reports for senior management and clients on sales, business activity and market trends. Coordinate and work directly with Regional Sales Assistants (RSAs) for food shows, marketing contracts, program renewals, sales meetings and customer events. Focus on competitive situations, understand the landscape, communicate info to clients and maintain awareness. Manage day‑to‑day activities of sales team, communicate goals, provide coaching, and ensure KPIs are met. Conduct formal yearly performance reviews with team members to ensure company goals and KPIs are met. Ensure Operator Specialists report consistently in CRM. Ensure Operator Specialists are current with all KeyImpact training and company policies. Manage annual, bi‑annual, quarterly sales numbers and objectives. Manage daily distributor functions: answer phone calls, review buyers, verify daily activities, schedule meetings. Build and maintain distributor relationships by analyzing needs, introducing new products and addressing concerns. Prepare and present at sales meetings and training, introduce products, allow distributor sales reps to taste and understand features. Conduct sales blitzes and competitive conversions as needed to acquire leads and convert prospective customers. Conduct marketing reviews with distributors and clients to discuss activity, opportunities, and competition. Skills & Qualifications Current and valid driver’s license and adherence to all Motus requirements. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Ability to work independently, prioritize, and plan schedule to achieve KPIs. Superior customer service skills. Good decision and negotiating skills. Effective time‑management skills. High level of professionalism. Physical ability to lift 30 lbs. Ability to drive vehicle for long periods. College degree in business or related field preferred. Culinary and/or operations experience preferred. 2–5 years of previous sales experience. Knowledge of brokerage business in relation to clients, distributors and customers. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Product and sales training; CRM software training. Frequent on‑road driving. High concentration and mental/visual alertness. Large portion of day spent on phone or in person with clients, distributors, and customers. Frequent up/down motion to perform duties. Moderate typing, calculating, or otherwise working with fingers. Ability to hear and receive detailed information. Reliable transportation to get to and from accounts.
