Successful candidates will demonstrate strong daily engagement with staff and a hands-on approach to communication, problem-solving, and performance management.What You’ll Work OnManage a team of manufacturing operators and technicians (including full-time and contingent staff) across a diverse set of processes to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.Manage day-to-day operations for the production shift, including training, labor allocation, material flow, production scheduling, line support, and change management.Monitor performance metrics and visual management systems to drive accountability and continuous improvement with production staff.Promote a safe and positive work environmentEnsure required product quality levels and requlatory compliance are achieved through the use of standard work and training to those standards.Lead cost reduction and operational performance initiatives to improve efficiency, throughput, and manufacturing performance that achieve both daily and long-term goals.Recruit, develop, and retain a diverse, skilled workforce; provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.Cross-train, develop, and mentor staff to ensure long-term production results.Required Qualifications : Associates Degree or higherMinimum of 7 years manufacturing supervisory experience in a regulated, multi-product, and multi-process environment.Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, mentor, and develop employees.Effective communication (verbal, written, and visual), interpersonal, and motivational skills.Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and hold production team accountable for results.Demonstrated ability to lead projects that improve production results.Preferred Qualifications ​Medical device industry experienceExperience with manual manufacturing processes (incl. cutting, soldering, crimping).
