About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP for Financial Reporting with a focus on valuations. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing accurate valuations of companies, securities, and intangible assets across various industries. This involves utilizing proprietary quantitative valuation models, conducting in-depth market research, and managing the entire valuation engagement process. The role also includes supervising junior staff, building and maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, client-ready valuation reports. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field, with an MBA being preferred. A minimum of 5-7 years' of experience in financial reporting, accounting, and valuation, particularly in the context of ASC 350/805, is required. Experience in financial modeling, including common stock option valuations under 409A, is essential, with a background in ASC 718 being ideal. The role demands strong technical skills, including proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with online databases and internet research. The candidate should also possess strong writing and presentation skills and be a U.S. citizen or green card holder.
