The strongest candidates will have substantial experience with wage and hour litigation, particularly California wage-and-hour class and collective actions and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) matters.ResponsibilitiesManage employment litigation matters through all phases of litigation.Handle California wage-and-hour class and collective actions and PAGA matters.Draft and respond to pleadings and discovery.Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions.Take and defend depositions.Develop case strategies and manage day-to-day litigation matters.Conduct legal research and prepare high-quality written work product.Communicate with clients and provide practical legal guidance.Manage multiple sophisticated matters in a fast-paced environment.Work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and legal professionals.Qualifications3+ years of employment litigation experience.Significant experience with wage and hour litigation required.Experience with California wage-and-hour class and collective actions and PAGA matters strongly preferred.Experience managing cases through all phases of litigation.Strong experience with discovery, pleadings, motion practice, and depositions.Excellent academic credentials.Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.Motivated self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively.J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.Admission to the California Bar required.CompensationThe anticipated salary range for this position is $210,000–$270,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and other job-related factors.BenefitsThe firm offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceGenerous paid time offPaid parental leave401(k) with profit sharingLife insuranceLong-term disability coverageEmployee assistance programOptional critical care, accident, hospital indemnity, dependent life, student loan refinancing, and pet insurance
