About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our Fabrication team. In this role, you will work with raw steel and other materials to fabricate the components used in the manufacturing of our CNC machines.

This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, can read and work from blueprints, and is comfortable welding in multiple positions.

What You'll Do

• Weld in horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Fabricate steel components used in the production of CNC machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and specifications.
• Lay out fabrication work accurately from blueprints.
• Measure, cut, fit, and prepare materials for welding and fabrication.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Operate vertical and horizontal band saws.
• Operate abrasive cut-off saws.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work independently while also collaborating with members of the Fabrication team.
• Complete projects efficiently while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Perform other fabrication and production duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Welding and/or metal fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to weld in horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Comfortable using power tools and fabrication equipment.
• Ability to accurately measure and lay out work.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods while performing fabrication work.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Education
Required:

• High school diploma or GED.

Preferred:

• Welding certificate from an accredited welding or technical school.
• Forklift certification.
• Crane certification.
