Computer Numerical Control Programmer

Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for precision‑machined components. This role is responsible for creating efficient machining processes, selecting tooling and workholding solutions, troubleshooting production issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and manufacturing performance. Key Responsibilities Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for lathes, mills, mill‑turns, and VTL machines Create machining strategies, tooling selections, and fixture/workholding solutions for complex components Program and support API threads, premium threads, and customer‑specific threaded connections Troubleshoot programming, tooling, setup, and dimensional issues on the shop floor Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements Prepare setup sheets, tooling documentation, and program revision controls Collaborate with machinists, quality, engineering, and operations teams to improve manufacturing processes Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on cycle time reduction, setup reduction, quality enhancement, and machining efficiency Required Qualifications CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment Advanced proficiency with Mastercam software Strong experience programming CNC lathes and mills using Fanuc controls Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T Experience with tooling selection, machining strategies, and process optimization Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with oil & gas, aerospace, or precision-machining industries Experience programming threaded products, including API and premium thread Familiarity with Mori Seiki, Mazak, Haas, Puma SMX, Kuraki, and OM VTL equipment Experience supporting machinists and production operations in a high‑precision manufacturing environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
