Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and skilled Machine Operator Assistant to join our team in Richmond, IN. This position involves working with slitting machinery on multiple shifts, focusing on precision and quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up slitter machinery and adjust the width of the cutting operation.
• Load rolls of raw plastic material into industrial machinery using a stand-up forklift.
• Assist with start-up, shutdown, product changeovers, and material changes.
• Conduct quality inspections using instruments and visual checks.
• Record production data, quality results, and downtime information accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in machine operation.
• Ability to operate a stand-up forklift.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Mechanically inclined with experience in production.

This is a Permanent position based out of Richmond, IN.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $43680.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
