Business Development Representative

Responsibilities of the Business Development Representative: Lead Engagement: Promptly respond to inbound phone calls, internet inquiries, and live chats from customers interested in purchasing a vehicle or scheduling service. Appointment Setting: Guide customers through their inquiries and successfully schedule appointments for dealership visits. Outbound Outreach: Conduct outbound follow‑up calls, texts, and emails to warm leads, past customers, and unsold showroom visitors. CRM Management: Document all customer interactions and update profiles in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software with high accuracy. Team Collaboration: Coordinate closely with our Sales and Service managers to ensure seamless transitions for customers arriving at the dealership. Requirements of the Business Development Representative: Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a confident, friendly phone demeanor. Tech Skills: Proficiency with computers; experience with CRM systems (e.g., VinSolutions, Elead, Reynolds & Reynolds) is a big plus. Resilience: A positive attitude with the ability to handle objections and maintain motivation during high‑volume call periods. Experience: 1–2 years of experience in customer service, call centers, telemarketing, or hospitality preferred. Reliability: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a track record of punctuality.
