Survey Party Chief

Survey Party Chief Location: US-NJ-Woodcliff Essential Duties and Responsibilities This position requires 4‑8 years of experience supervising a survey field crew performing control surveys, boundary and topographic surveys, construction stakeout, monitoring and as‑built surveys. Mentor, train, and manage assigned staff in the field. Operate robotic total stations, electronic data collectors, digital and optical levels, and RTK GPS equipment. Possess excellent math skills and perform survey calculations in the field. Interpret design plans, as‑built drawings, and roadway plans. Create legible field sketches and record detailed field notes. Hold a valid current driver’s license. Follow instructions and maintain a positive, can‑do attitude. Demonstrate leadership and mentoring skills. Be able to lift 50 pounds, walk for extended periods, work in all weather conditions, and be willing to work evenings/weekends, and travel for overnight and extended stay projects as required.
