Amusement (Arcade) Associate

Round One Entertainment is looking to hire Customer Service Associates for our Amusement (arcade) department. The location for our facility is in Santa Ana, CA at the Main Place Mall.

Position Details:

• Part-time (20-25 hours per week).
• $19-20.75 per hour.
• Store hours: 10:00 AM - 2:00 AM, including weekends and holidays.
• Open availability, or flexibility to work closing shifts and weekends preferred.

Benefits :

• 1 hour of time play (non-prize) arcade games per week.
• 90 minutes of bowling per week (shoes included).
• 1 hour of karaoke/billiards per week.
• 50% discount on food items per working shift.
• 1 free beverage per working shift.

Essential Duties:

• Operates POS register for game card sales, registration, balance checks, & prize redemptions.
• Manages the inventory of department supplies, redemption prizes, & arcade game supplies according to company policies & standards.
• Conducts all opening & closing procedures. (Restocking supplies, prize room, cranes, game floor & counter cleaning).
• Maintain a throughout knowledge of the store's arcade game inventory and game operations.
• Maintain games, signage, & counters clean and visibly attractive to customers.
• Answers phone calls for all general inquires.
• Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

Non-Essential Duties:

• Conducts alcohol and age restriction control by company policies.
• Conducts lost and found procedures according to company policies.
• Seeks constant improvement or more efficient and less expensive ways and means in department work processes.
• Complies with and maintains confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.

Qualifications :

• High School diploma or GED.
• (Preferred) One to two years' experience in hospitality, restaurant, or retail environment.
• Knowledge of anime characters, figures and plushies preferred.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust, and activity can be expected. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces.
• The employee is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time without breaks during busy times. In addition, the employee will need to be able to use their hands/fingers to handle and feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Lifting and/or moving up to 100lbs with assistance is required.
