Stevinson Lexus of Frederick is seeking a Billing Clerk to join their team. Previous dealership experience preferred.

Compensation: $22.00-$23.00 based on experience

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

SUMMARY

Processes car deals. Verifies cost, including the cost of reconditioning and equipment add-ons. Prepares invoices and bills associated with vehicle sales and purchases. Compiles critical vehicle financial data for the dealership.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process and post vehicle sales.
• Receipt monies for car deals and product purchases.
• Prepare invoice and process all product only purchases.
• Payoff all new vehicle flooring through Dealer Daily & flooring dealer trades.
• Process all trade-in payoffs. Overnight to correct lienholder.
• Process customer refunds for car deal related transactions.
• Post incentive payments and process any challenges.
• Maintains and cleans all schedules related to vehicle inventories, billing car deals.
• Compares calculated gross to that of the sales management team, reflects and discrepancies accordingly
• Maintains correct deadlines for payroll cutoff/month end
• Reconciles floorplan
• Scan deals into digital deal jacket as needed.
• Update deal notes into F&I.
• Issues PO for reconditioning on all vehicles
• Other tasks as assigned.

Skills and Requirements

• High School diploma or General education degree (GED); Six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• English language required (Bilingual a plus).
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions for managers and coworkers
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties.
• Must be able to pass pre emeployment screening (background and drug.)
• Must be at least eighteen years of age
