SUMMARY The Millwright / Maintenance role is responsible for ensuring the safe operation, maintenance, repair, and improvement of Sunrise Cooperative facilities. The position oversees maintenance projects, contractors, equipment reliability, facility safety, and capital improvement work while ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget. Requirements PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist Branch Managers in overseeing contractors, coordinate day to day between builders, millwrights, electricians, concrete contractors, and other outside contractors on site. Manage contractor compliance by confirming appropriate permits, insurance coverage, licenses, and required documentation are obtained and maintained before work begins and throughout the duration of each project. Oversee the maintenance, organization, and readiness of assigned company truck, tools, and equipment to support safe and efficient operations. Evaluate equipment and facility malfunctions, execute repairs within scope of expertise, and coordinate with qualified contractors to ensure timely and effective resolution of maintenance issues. Manage the bid solicitation and evaluation process for maintenance, repair, and capital projects, ensuring contractor selection aligns with budget, quality, and operational objectives. Maintain and support the ongoing reliability, safety, and operational efficiency of company equipment, assets, and facilities through proactive maintenance and repair efforts. Manage project execution to ensure timelines, budgets, and performance expectations are achieved in accordance with organizational objectives. Create, implement, and continuously improve preventive maintenance standards and procedures to support operational efficiency and equipment performance. Other jobs as assigned. Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation. Minimum of three years of maintenance experience within agricultural, industrial, grain handling, or related operational environments. Ability to perform metal fabrication, modification, and repair work to support operational and maintenance requirements. Ability to safely work in confined spaces and demonstrate knowledge of applicable safety procedures, permitting requirements, and regulatory documentation. Ability to safely perform work at elevated heights of up to 200 feet while adhering to all fall protection and safety requirements. Must have class A CDL with a Medical Card. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to effectively communicate with customers and associates. Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
