This full-time role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact across multiple campuses within a school district. You’ll collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to help students thrive through assessment, intervention, and advocacy.

Your responsibilities will center on conducting assessments, preparing professional reports, and participating in IEP meetings. With a varied, itinerant-style caseload, your days will be dynamic as you travel between schools, serving diverse student populations from elementary through high school. School-based experience is highly valued, and proficiency with comprehensive assessments is essential.

Ideal Background and Qualifications:

• Current, active FL Department of Health Psychologist license
• Experience administering a variety of school-based assessments
• Strong report-writing skills
• Ability to facilitate and participate in IEP meetings
• Previous experience in K–12 school settings strongly preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Flexible approach to working with changing caseloads and locations

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct thorough psychoeducational assessments as needed
• Compile clear, actionable reports and documentation
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
• Consult with educational staff, students, and families
• Support students in navigating academic, emotional, and behavioral challenges
• Manage a caseload that may span multiple campuses within the district

This contract position is exclusively on-site and requires a full-time commitment of 35 hours per week, running through the end of the academic year. The district is aiming to start interviews soon.
