This position involves supporting maternal and newborn health, performing advanced clinical interventions, and ensuring patient safety during labor, delivery, and postpartum care. Job Details Position: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Post Partum (L&D PP) Location: Not specified (general healthcare facility setting) Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ANRP) certification 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in a related setting Demonstrated ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring, IV skills, and lab draws Knowledge of high-risk medication administration (Magnesium, Oxytocin, Insulin) Skills in urine point of care testing, capillary blood glucose testing, and IStat utilization Ability to perform adult cardiac monitoring, newborn monitors including pulse oximetry and cardiac monitoring, heel sticks/venipuncture on newborns Knowledge of newborn medication administration, IV maintenance, Bili-blankets/lights, radiant warmers Ability to support gynecological teaching and postpartum bladder training, maternal-newborn teaching Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or related field Minimum of three (3) years of labor and delivery experience Minimum of three (3) years of postpartum experience Minimum one (1) year of medical/surgical nursing experience Additional Information: Enable Skills-Based Hiring Must have license and certifications as listed above Winter plan needed: Yes Benefits The benefits of taking a travel assignment with Cross Country include: Private housing or generous housing allowance Comprehensive health insurance with prescription coverage Dependent health insurance with prescription coverage Competitive salaries Referral bonuses Travel reimbursement 401(k) retirement plan Direct deposit/free checking Unlimited free CE credits Cross Country Job ID 1306741.
