Details Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:00 On-call as needed with no weekend requirement Patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:2 Epic EMR experience required Requirements Active CA RN license required Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required AWHONN certification required (Advanced AWHONN preferred) Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience required Epic charting system experience required Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred Two supervisor references obtained within the past year required Additional Information Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care May supervise LVNs, nursing assistants, and clinical support associates Returning staff or travelers must have a one-year separation before returning to the facility Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only one holiday request approved per contract Holiday coverage required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day Holiday periods run from 7:00 PM the night before through 7:00 AM the day after Must complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing 7-year work history verification required for all candidates Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-748391.
