Certified Nursing Aide - PCU (Full‑Time, Days) Location: Shawnee Mission, Kansas Posted: 27-Jun-26 Job Description Assists in the delivery of patient care by performing tasks under the direction of a licensed nurse. Accurately performs vital signs and documents all procedures in the electronic medical record. Performs duties and patient care according to policy and procedure, and functions within scope during clinical emergencies. Participates in practice changes from performance improvement activities and supports quality standards. Follows CDC isolation guidelines, demonstrates appropriate use of personal protective equipment, performs hand hygiene, and enforces safety regulations. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team, and maintains a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities Assist licensed nurses in patient care activities. Take vital signs and document findings accurately. Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent (required). 1+ applicable PCT experience (preferred). Basic Life Support – CPR Certified (BLS) (required). Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) (preferred). Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) (preferred). Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification (preferred).
