Behavioral Healthcare Provider

This position is responsible for coordinating medication-assisted treatment counseling and guidance to inmates. Responsibilities include completing screenings and coordinating orientation with Recovery Services Staff. Perform assessments, counseling, guidance, and provide assistance to inmates, referrals, treatment plans, documentation, and discharge planning. Utilize a coordinated treatment approach with relevant agencies. Enter relevant information into electronic healthcare records and other required systems. Monitor attendance and participation progress of offenders in substance use disorder treatment programs. Review case files and termination of program participation. Provide technical assistance for continuing care planning. Intervene in crisis situations. Review inmate files for program admission consideration. Maintain accurate data, documentation, and reports of participants in required electronic healthcare records. Monitor, provide support, and track participants at additional institutions as assigned. Provide technical assistance and training to staff involved in the recovery services program. Participate in program quality assurance activities including peer, utilization, and clinical record reviews. Attend seminars and conferences. Conduct oneself professionally and in a law-abiding manner at all times. Adhere to relevant policies and protocols. Perform other duties as assigned.
