About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant General Counsel to join its dynamic, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be a key advisor, partnering closely with the General Counsel and executive leadership team. This role is pivotal in taking ownership of core legal functions, including contracts, compliance, and litigation management, and leading cross-functional initiatives that have a significant impact on the business. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years' legal experience, with a strong background in the aforementioned areas, and the ability to operate independently while engaging effectively with business stakeholders. This is a strategic position designed for a standout performer with the ambition to grow into a broader leadership role. The Assistant General Counsel will be a legal athlete, thriving in ambiguity, and bringing both practical judgment and commercial instinct to the table. The role offers a rare blend of breadth and impact, and the candidate should be prepared for a high level of visibility and the opportunity to influence enterprise strategy. A JD from an accredited law school is required, and the candidate should be a best athlete with the potential for future growth within the organization. The position is remote, with travel for executive leadership team meetings, and the company is an equal-opportunity employer.
