Senior Technical Lead

Ideally on sight in the bay area (open to be flexible for the right candidate) 450K+ first year total compensation package (higher compensation packages depend on skillset/experience, open to be flexible for the right candidate) Job Description: Lead the development of transmitter (Tx) PIC products, including InP laser and InP modulator for short reach or intra-datacenter applications. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting‑edge technology that addresses the growing demands of data transmission in modern data centers, telecom networks, and beyond. Requirements: Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Solid‑State Physics and at least ten (10+) years of successful experience designing transmitter (Tx) PIC products, including InP laser and InP modulator for short reach or intra-datacenter applications Device physics expertise in design, simulation, and high-speed testing EML (electro‑absorption modulator and laser) and EAM (electro‑absorption modulator) design experience Experience with modulator/driver co-design Experience with signal integrity simulation and design 10+ layer PIC mask generation/ownership of layout Extensive photonic device data analysis in manufacturing environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
