Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with a CA CRT license and a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 13-week travel contract in California.

Details

• Mammography unit within an outpatient health center setting
• 5x8 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Saturday rotation required as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• CA CRT license required if applicable
• CA state license required

Additional Information

• Performs routine and specialized breast imaging procedures to produce diagnostic-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers
• Works independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to ensure safe and precise procedures
• Responsible for competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication with patients and their support groups
• May be responsible for orienting other staff to the department
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only one holiday RTO request will be approved for this assignment
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year are required for consideration
