Manager, Lending & Trade Operations (Wholesale Banking) Job ID : RFC- 2587 Posted Date : 26/08/2026 Work Experience (Years) : 5-20 Location : New York, NY Overview : Manager, Lending & Trade Operations (Wholesale Banking) Location - New York ( Onsite) The Manager, Loan & Trade Finance Operations oversees end-to-end back-office processing for bilateral and syndicated loans as well as trade finance transactions. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role ensures accurate loan servicing, trade instrument processing, funding coordination, and compliance with internal controls, ICC rules, and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Loan Operations: Manage the full loan lifecycle, including account setup, disbursements, treasury rate-fixing, repayments, rollovers, restructuring, reconciliations, and exception resolution. Trade Finance Operations: Process Letters of Credit (LCs, SBLCs), Guarantees, and Receivables Financing; review trade documents, verify authorizations, and perform AML/sanctions screening. Risk & Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and international trade standards (UCP 600, ISP98, URDG). Process Improvement & Reporting: Prepare MIS and audit reports, participate in system testing, and drive workflow automation to enhance operational efficiency. Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: 5–8 years of experience in corporate or wholesale loan operations (bilateral and syndicated loans); trade finance operations experience is a strong advantage. Technical Knowledge: Strong grasp of the loan lifecycle (including project/construction finance) and ICC rules (UCP 600, URDG 758, ISP98, ISBP). Core Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong reconciliation capabilities, operational risk awareness, and excellent stakeholder communication skills.
