CNC Operator - 3rd Shift

Hours: Fri-Sun 6:30 AM-6:30 PM

Pay: $18-$25/hr, pending experience
Location: Naples, FL

Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring CNC Operators for multiple shifts with a growing precision manufacturing company in Naples, FL. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining OmniTurn CNC machines and related equipment used to manufacture precision medical device components.

The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC turning equipment, tip forming, TIG welding, boring operations, precision measurements, and working within tight tolerances in a quality-focused manufacturing environment.

Available Shifts:

1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM


2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 4:30 PM-3:00 AM
Includes shift differential


3rd Shift: Friday-Sunday, 6:30 AM-6:30 PM
Includes shift differential


4th Shift: Friday-Sunday, 6:00 PM-6:30 AM
Includes shift differential

Key Responsibilities:


Set up and operate OmniTurn CNC machines to manufacture precision medical device components


Perform tip forming operations on tubing and small medical parts to meet dimensional and cosmetic specifications


Conduct TIG welding on medical-grade materials such as stainless steel, nitinol, or other alloys following validated procedures


Perform boring operations to achieve precise internal diameters and tight tolerances


Load and unload parts, adjust machine parameters, and monitor production cycles


Inspect parts using visual inspection, pin gauges, ball gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools


Verify parts meet engineering drawings, work instructions, and customer specifications


Document inspection results and production data according to quality system requirements


Identify nonconforming products and report issues to Quality or Engineering


Follow GMP, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements


Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area


Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications:


Experience operating OmniTurn CNC machines or similar Swiss/turning equipment preferred


Hands-on experience with tip forming, TIG welding, and boring operations preferred


Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions


Knowledge of precision measuring tools and inspection techniques


Experience in medical device manufacturing preferred


Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances


Ability to work independently and as part of a team


Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred

Education Requirements:


High school diploma or equivalent required


Technical training or machine certification preferred


Minimum of 2 years of machine operating, setup, or precision machining experience preferred


Medical device or precision machining experience is a plus

Physical Requirements:


Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time


Ability to use tools and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift


Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and handling of parts or equipment required


Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time


Must have visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect finished parts

Exposure to moving mechanical parts and production equipment


Must be able to follow safety procedures and quality standards at all times
