Senior Structural Designer
$31.73 - $43.65 per hourHKAA
Senior Structural Designer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Designer to support the design and development of industrial, manufacturing, and high-tech facility projects. This role will lead structural design efforts, coordinate multidisciplinary deliverables, and develop construction documents while working closely with engineers, architects, and project teams.
Pay: $31.73- $43.65 per hour DOE
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with structural design, drafting, and modeling
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Experience utilizing Navisworks and Bluebeam for model review and coordination
- Strong understanding of structural systems, codes, standards, and industry best practices
- Ability to lead design efforts and mentor junior designers
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working on multidisciplinary engineering projects
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate structural models, drawings, plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and details
- Lead design efforts for systems, buildings, or project areas
- Perform code research and coordinate with engineers and project stakeholders
- Resolve design conflicts and coordinate across disciplines
- Conduct field surveys and existing conditions assessments
- Review deliverables for quality, accuracy, and completeness
- Provide technical guidance to junior designers and engineers
- Support project planning, scheduling, and labor estimates
