Assembler

Join our team to work on assembling small parts for elevator doors, walls, and other components. If you possess basic assembly experience or a mechanical inclination, this role is perfect for you. You will also be involved in packing parts for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and pack a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, and fabricated elevator components.
• Perform all operations necessary to assemble, align, and pack elevator subassemblies and assemblies within allocated times while maintaining quality specifications.
• Work from manufacturing information, SAP, COE sheets, engineering drawings, written and oral instructions.
• Package and identify completed assemblies for shipment.
• Maintain all required records and documents.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools.
• Basic blueprint reading skills.
• Mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Mechanically inclined.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in picking, packing, and kitting.
• Familiarity with power tools.
• Electrical assembly knowledge.

Work Environment

You'll be working in a fairly clean environment with moderate noise levels. The role requires wearing steel-toed boots, long pants, and safety glasses while in the shop. Available shifts include 1st shift from 6am-2pm and 2nd shift from 2:30pm-10:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
