Seasonal Kids Club Supervisor

Kid’s Club Supervisor Join the dynamic and diverse team at La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club, Inc., where tradition meets opportunity. This seasonal role is expected to conclude on October 5, 2026. Responsibilities Develop, coordinate and implement summer and holiday activity programs for children of members and apartment guests. Maintain a calendar of social events, programs and activities for junior members and hotel guests ages 3–10 during summer months. Consult with parents regarding activities, policies and enrollment procedures. Arrange medical attention for ill or injured children in accordance with parental and company instructions. Interview and recommend the hiring of activities staff in conjunction with the director. Provide quality service to guests that meets or exceeds expectations. Purchase supplies for planned activities and approved events. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise, coordinate and evaluate Kid’s Club attendants in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws. Plan, assign and direct work; address complaints and resolve problems. Maintain current CPR & First Aid Training Card. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in education or related field, or minimum five years of related experience. Previous experience in a camp or school setting required. Ability to read, interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively in English before guests, children, parents, managers or employees. Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, calculations of discounts, commissions, proportions and percentages). Reasoning ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written, oral or diagram instructions and to deal with problems involving several concrete variables. All employees in this position must obtain and maintain a current CPR & First Aid Training Card. Physical Demands Regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle objects, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Constantly lifts and/or moves up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Typical vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and an ability to adjust focus. Work Environment and Conditions The work environment includes outside weather conditions, moderate to loud noise levels, and occasional proximity to moving mechanical parts. Scheduling Must be available to work holidays and weekends; shifts may be rotated and business needs determine hours.
