About the RoleChime is looking for an Investor Relations Associate to join our IR team at a pivotal moment in the company's public market journey. This role sits at the intersection of finance, communications, and strategy — supporting the full spectrum of IR activities that help investors and analysts understand Chime's business, growth trajectory, and competitive position.You'll work closely with the Head and Director of IR and gain exposure to senior leadership, the sell-side analyst community, and institutional investors. This is a high-visibility, high-learning role for someone early in their career who wants to build a foundation in investor relations, capital markets and corporate finance.The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $90,000 and up to $125,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.In this role, you can expect toInvestor Communications & ReportingHelp prepare quarterly earnings materials including press releases, investor presentations, Q&A prep documents, and scriptsMaintain and update investor-facing content on the IR websiteTrack and organize analyst research, consensus estimates, and investor feedback following roadshows and conferencesMarket IntelligenceMonitor sell-side coverage, produce daily news summaries, and flag relevant fintech, neobank, and broader consumer finance developmentsTrack peer company earnings calendars, disclosures, and analyst commentary; synthesize competitive positioning implicationsMaintain a peer group benchmarking model (valuation multiples, key operating metrics)Investor Engagement SupportCoordinate logistics for investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, and analyst days — including scheduling, travel, briefing documents, and follow-upsManage the IR inbox and help field inbound inquiries from investors and analystsMaintain the investor CRM database, tracking engagement history and ownership changesFinancial AnalysisSupport updates to internal financial models and bridge analyses ahead of earningsAssist in preparing board and executive materials related to shareholder base, ownership trends, and consensus vs. guidance dynamicsTo thrive in this role, you haveExperience & Background2–3 years of professional experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, consulting, corporate finance, or a related fieldUndergraduate degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related discipline; strong academic recordExposure to public company financial statements and SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) is a plusSkillsStrong financial acumen — comfortable reading an income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement, and understanding how they connectExcellent written and verbal communication skills; able to synthesize complex information into clear, concise narrativesHighly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams under deadline pressureProficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Google Office Suite, familiarity with Factset or Bloomberg terminal preferredAttributesGenuine curiosity about fintech, capital markets, and how institutional investors thinkLow ego, high initiative — comfortable rolling up your sleeves and owning administrative details as readily as analytical workDiscretion and sound judgment when handling material non-public information (MNPI) and investor relationshipsTeam-first mindset with a desire to grow within the IR function over time#LI-BE1 #LI-OnsiteA little about usAt Chime, we believe that everyone can achieve financial progress.
