Trusts & Estates Administration and Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Licensed Administration and Litigation Attorney needed for busy, well-respected trust and estate administration and litigation firm. Prior trust, estate and conservatorship experience preferred. However, we are willing to train in probate if applicants have transferable skills in administration, litigation or relevant practice area experience in trust and estates. Prior financial services experience is helpful. Or if the applicant only has knowledge of uncontested trust, administration and estate matters, we are willing to train in litigation. But must have one or the other - probate experience or litigation experience.

Goal is direct file responsibility on litigation and trust/estate administration matters with Partner oversight, including client communications, discovery, depositions, mediations, court appearances, and trials if case does not settle. Thus, the applicant must be a self-starter and be good at managing a caseload, multitasking deadlines, being responsive, and making each client feel like their case is important.

The applicant must be motivated to develop a reputation for excellence in the Probate Bar, and to add to the firm's own reputation in that regard.

Job Type: Full-time Associate Attorney

Pay: $120,000 - $165,000 per year, commensurate with relevant experience in the firm’s practice areas.
