Maintenance Technician @ The Cardinal At North HillsThe Maintenance Technician @ The Cardinal at North Hills is responsible for the upkeep of the community through the repair and maintenance of buildings, grounds, and support equipment. This associate ensures the safety and health standards for the property are being met, resulting in a safe and secure environment for residents, family members, guests and associates.Schedule: FT Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm (On Call Rotation)Pay Rate: $20/hr - $23/hrPaid Vacation / Sick Time / 7 Paid Holidays Excellent - Medical / Dental / Vision Benefits / 401KFree Meal each shiftWhat will I do every day?Maintain the physical condition of the interior and exterior systems and machinery of the community campus as directed by the supervisorDiagnose and repair problems in such areas as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware accessories, masonry, painting/wallpaper, water features (pools, spas, etc.) and waste management systemsComplete assigned service requests Perform turn-key work as required to ensure vacant apartment homes are rent-ready in a timely mannerAssist with organizing and prioritizing service requests and general maintenance tasksMay supervise the work of other associates and outside contractorsWhat will I need to be successful in this role?High school graduate preferredOne to three years' experience in maintenance service work orders and property maintenanceBasic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including: Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom applications (not all JDs)Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as neededSpecial Requirements/Certifications I may need?Technical training or HVAC certification is desirableSkill in patch, texture and painting is desirableShould have high degree of mechanical skillWhat's in it for me?
