Job Description As a Security Officer Overnight Hospital Patrol in Arcadia, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:30 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:30 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:30 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:30 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including assisting with de‑escalation and reporting observed concerns to appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or unusual conditions. Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, including observing visitor traffic and supporting badge and credential checks when required. Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in detailed written reports, and communicate security‑related information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Minimum Requirements: Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Have 2+ years of service in a healthcare or medical‑related field. CPR and/or First Aid is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
