This role is part of Alcon's Supply Chain function, managing logistics, inventory management, and supply chain analytics for Alcon’s products to ensure efficient delivery. The Supervisor I, Warehouse & Distribution Management leads team members to ensure efficient operations in warehouse and distribution centers, makes daily decisions, manages tasks, optimizes workflows, and fosters a culture of safety and continuous improvement at our Manufacturing Facility in Houston, TX. Responsibilities Oversee team members to ensure efficient task completion and adherence to processes. Make day-to-day decisions affecting team members and manage task assignments. Optimize storage space, material flows, and safety protocols. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with other departments for timely distribution. Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency. Train and mentor team members, conduct performance evaluations, and drive talent development. Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Lead performance management and enhance employee engagement. Compliance All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following SOPs, maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training. Compliance with regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Associate +6 yrs; MS +0 yrs). The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English. 2 years of relevant experience. 1 year of demonstrated leadership. Hours, Location, and Travel Work Hours: Monday to Thursday — 4:00 pm to 2:30 am (10 hours) CST. Location: Onsite, Houston, TX. Travel Requirements: Up to 10%. Relocation Assistance: None.
