Registered Dietitian (RD)- Contract Consultant

DiningRD is actively seeking a Registered Dietitian for an Assisted Living Community. Consultant would be responsible for quarterly onsite visits (4 hours/visit) to complete food safety and sanitation audit, meal/dining observation audit, and any nutrition referrals for high-risk residents. This position earns competitive pay depending on experience and current needs. A Day in the Life of a Registered Dietitian (RD) As a Long-Term Care consulting Registered Dietitian, you improve the lives of seniors by ensuring their meals meet high nutritional standards. You work closely with the clinical team to monitor the nutritional needs of residents, provide nutrition education, and support the development of nutrition assessments. You guide dining managers and staff on meal rounds, sanitation best practices, and regulatory compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Additionally, you assist with policy development and monitor the implementation of effective nutritional care systems. Qualifications Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) credentials Licensed (if required by State) 2 years of consulting experience preferred (experience in Long-Term Care preferred but not required) Strong prioritization, interpersonal, and communication skills Professional representation of the company and mentoring abilities Work Schedule This position offers flexibility during the Monday‑Friday schedule.
