Monday - Friday

6am-2:30pm

Job Purpose:

To fulfill the daily task of ensuring all inbound freight is unloaded, properly inspected, verified, cataloged, and put away while helping to maintain a clean, safe and harmonious work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review packing slip(s) from inbound shipments, verifying that the parts and quantities received are correct according to the packing list.
• Physically opening cartons verifying the product, while inspecting for concealed damages
• Accessing the Purchase Order information via a "hand-held" computer/scanning devise (data collector), in an effort to verify the goods received are exactly as ordered.
• Using the data collector to "receive" the goods into WMS
• Receiving employees may be required to temporarily backfill in other areas

Job Requirements:

Each "Receiving Clerk" will be required to:

• Work standing on their feet for 8 hours every day or more
• Have the ability to lift no less than 60 pounds.
• Have the ability to read, identify, and comprehend alphanumeric part number schemes up to 30 characters long.
• Have the ability to clearly communicate.
• Possesses basic computer skills.
• Previous use of handheld data collector
• WMS Experience is a plus
