Job Summary:
The position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within an ambulatory setting in Everett, Massachusetts. The role involves rotating between Pre-Operative and PACU units, requiring flexibility to float as needed. Candidates must bring their professional license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Everett, Massachusetts
• Shift Hours: Rotating; Pre-Op shift 6:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m., PACU shift 8:00 a.m. 6:30 p.m., on-call shift 10:00 p.m. 7:00 a.m.
• Schedule: 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, with shifts rotating between days and on-call.
• Certifications and Experience: Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); 2+ years of experience in Pre-Operative and PACU care; EMR experience preferred with EPIC or Cerner systems; Massachusetts RN license (active or conditional) verified within past 7 days; recent Nursys report; relevant trauma level (1, 2) experience and teaching hospital experience preferred.
• Additional Requirements: Up-to-date resume, documentation of travel experience, two recent Pre-Op/PACU Charge RN or Supervisor references, drivers license matching demographic details, flu vaccination during the season, and compliance with facility-specific medication support and procedures.
• Other Details: Must work every other major holiday; block scheduling not available; float between Pre-Op and PACU; necessary Drips and Medications include occasional pressor support.
• Submission Notes: Candidate must include RTO information; references will be verified; candidate should have no limitations impacting their start date or floating responsibilities; housing arrangements in the area should be confirmed prior to submission.
