Senior SEC Reporting Manager

Position Overview Senior SEC Reporting Manager – Finance Team Responsibilities Own and oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, earnings releases, and regulatory filings, ensuring proper segregation and compliance with GAAP and SOX. Assist with equity filings, including Form 3 and Form 4, and manage related filings. Support the development and completion of proxy reports and other equity‑related reporting. Research and prepare technical accounting memorandums, documenting accounting positions on areas such as goodwill, going concern, and debt instruments. Implement new accounting standards and provide research support for complex transactions and reporting questions. Partner with internal and external audit teams, address inquiries, and ensure audit readiness. Develop, mentor, and lead team members, promoting knowledge sharing and continuity of finance operations. Lead special projects and ad‑hoc responsibilities to support Finance operations. Identify and implement automation or AI solutions to improve the financial reporting process. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent. Public accounting experience and 4–7+ years of relevant financial reporting experience. Experience managing or leading a team, preferably in a public company environment. Deep understanding of GAAP, internal controls, SOX compliance, and public company reporting requirements. Working knowledge of finance systems (NetSuite, FloQast, BlackLine, Workiva) and proficiency in Excel. Self‑motivated, analytical, and highly organized with strong problem‑solving skills. Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, resource‑constrained environments and manage multiple priorities. Collaborative leadership style with a focus on mentoring and cross‑functional partnerships. Comfortable navigating complex systems, identifying risks, and implementing practical solutions. Technical Environment Primary platforms: macOS and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides). Support for Windows is also provided.
