Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Night Shift, Occupational Health

Illuminate USA, a joint‑venture solar panel manufacturer in Pataskala, Ohio, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide on‑site occupational health support during overnight manufacturing operations. The LPN will triage work‑related injuries and illnesses, deliver first aid, respond to medical emergencies, and coordinate follow‑up care. Working independently during the night shift, the LPN will partner with day‑shift registered nurses to ensure continuity of care and compliance with occupational health standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide immediate care for work‑related injuries and illnesses, including triage, first aid, and referral when appropriate.
• Respond promptly to on‑site medical emergencies.
• Document all incidents, assessments, and treatments per company protocol and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate injury handoffs and follow‑up needs to day‑shift RNs.
• Perform health screenings such as blood pressure checks and glucose monitoring.
• Support workers’ compensation processes and return‑to‑work coordination.
• Assist with case management activities under RN supervision.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA and occupational health standards.
• Promote a safe and healthy work environment across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications & Licensure

• Active LPN license in Ohio or multistate Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) license.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in occupational health or a related setting.
• License in good standing.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments preferred.
• Familiarity with workers’ compensation and return‑to‑work protocols.
• Current CPR/BLS/AED certification.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Preferred: Respirator fit testing certification.
• Preferred: CAOHC certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Preferred: Case management experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during 12‑hour shifts.
• Ability to lift or assist up to 25 pounds.
• Frequent use of hands for clinical tasks and documentation.
• Ability to wear required PPE in manufacturing areas.
