Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.Job DescriptionCox Automotiveis seeking a Senior Financial Analyst – Business Operations Finance for the Product and Technology organization. This position provides support for select Technology department spend, assists in modeling M&A integration activity, and coordinates certain investment activity. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to influence and to help continuously improve processes. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Product and Technology Finance.The Senior Financial Analyst role will be based in Atlanta and require the employee to come into the office weekly.RESPONSIBILITIES:Create and maintain the model for investment activity for both monthly results as well as forecasting and budgetingCoordinate M&A integration financial activityProvide support for expenditures in Enterprise Platforms and Infrastructure & OperationsAssist with the financial planning and coordination of monthly P&L forecasts and annual budget process, including capital expendituresDevelop and recommend improved data collection and analysis methods, including methods to improve automation and standardizationPerform ad hoc analysis to support business decisionsInterpret financial data, project financials, variance analyses, and key business drivers to identify trends and make recommendations for improvementWork effectively on multiple assignments, activities or projectsQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting preferred with 4+ years of technology, manufacturing, or other industry experience with strong focus in Financial Planning and Analysis, and/or Strategic Business Analysis or equivalent work experience. A candidate may also have a Master's Degree with 2+ years of experience or a Ph.D with 1+ year of experience. A nondegreed candidate will have 8+ years of experience.Experience supporting a product or technology team is a plus.Demonstrated analytical (industry, market, and business) and quantitative skills with track record of delivering insights which improve business resultsEvolving knowledge of financial modeling and benchmarking techniques with the ability to synthesize complex information in executive level formatsAbility to develop structured and fact-based analytics that include actionable conclusions and recommendationsSelf-starter with flexibility and willingness to balance multiple, changing priorities and work under tight deadlinesDemonstrated ability to influence and build strong trusted working relationships with internal and external business customersAdvanced MS Excel skills required, including formulas, financial functions, pivot tables, design, and formatting for executive presentationsData visualization skills will be extremely helpfulPowerQuery and AI Tools (Claude) preferredExperience with Oracle, OneStream and Adaptive Planning is a strong plusUnderstanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Drug TestingTo be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre-employment drug test.
