Location Andalusia, AL | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 4 x 10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday | Start Time: 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Key Responsibilities

Review patient history and physician orders prior to imaging procedures
Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation
Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered
Position patients and perform CT and radiologic imaging procedures; analyze results and resolve image quality issues as needed
Monitor patient condition continually and report or respond to changes in status as appropriate
Enter, transmit, and report scan results; implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment
Required Qualifications

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required
Active ARRT certification in Radiography (RD) and CT required
BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in both Radiology and CT
Must be willing to float between X-ray and CT departments as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills

Completion of a CT technology certificate program
Prior travel assignment experience in a clinical setting
Experience working in a community hospital environment
