Bowden Boyatt Law PLLC is seeking a reliable, organized, and professional Part-Time Paralegal / Legal Assistant to support a small law office in Henderson, Nevada.

Our firm handles family law, criminal defense, juvenile matters, and related legal work. This is an in-office position and is best suited for someone who is comfortable working with physical files, court documents, deadlines, and case management software.

Schedule:
This is a part-time position, approximately 15–25 hours per week. Our regular office hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The schedule may be discussed based on office needs and candidate availability.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparing, organizing, and maintaining physical and electronic case files

• Draft, review, and format legal documents, correspondence, and forms under attorney supervision

• Assist with court filings, calendaring, deadlines, hearing preparation, and document organization

• Enter notes, tasks, documents, and time entries into case management software

• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, agencies, and other offices as directed

• Scan, save, label, and organize documents

• Support the attorney and office manager with day-to-day legal administrative tasks

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Qualifications:

• Prior paralegal or legal assistant experience preferred

• Family law, criminal defense, or juvenile law experience is a plus

• MyCase or other legal case management software experience is helpful

• Strong attention to detail, writing skills, and organizational skills

• Comfortable working in a small office environment

• Must be dependable, discreet, and able to follow instructions carefully

• Must be available for in-office work in Henderson, Nevada

Compensation:
Pay is DOE and based on experience.

Benefits:
Benefits may include eligibility for the firm’s 401(k) plan with employer safe harbor match, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements. The plan currently provides a match of 100% on the first 3% contributed, plus 50% on the next 2%, for a maximum employer match of 4% when an employee contributes at least 5%.
