Position Overview
A family in Cresskill, New Jersey is seeking an experienced, energetic part-time nanny to care for three boys, ages 5, 7, and 11, Monday through Friday afternoons. The children attend school full time, and the nanny's day begins with a short walk to pick them up at the nearby school.
Afternoons are active and child-focused. The ideal candidate enjoys getting outdoors, keeping three busy boys engaged, and moving smoothly between the park, scheduled activities, homework, and a simple family dinner. This is a hands-on childcare role rather than a household role — the family's priority is attentive, engaged care and a nanny whose attention stays on the children. The parents describe their approach as open and communicative, and they are looking for someone calm, patient, and confident managing sibling dynamics among three active brothers.
This is a live-out role with guaranteed hours, a consistent weekday schedule, and a family looking for a long-term relationship with the right person.

Responsibilities
- Walking to the nearby school for afternoon pickup
- Supervising and engaging three boys, ages 5, 7, and 11, throughout the afternoon
- Taking the children to the park and keeping them active outdoors
- Driving the children to scheduled activities around town
- Providing homework help and academic support
- Preparing simple, kid-friendly dinners
- Assisting with baths as needed
- Tidying the playroom and putting toys away at the end of the day
- Maintaining a calm, patient presence and helping the boys navigate sibling dynamics
Requirements
- Demonstrated professional childcare experience with multiple children, including school-age boys
- Patient, calm, and steady under pressure
- Comfortable with active, outdoor afternoons
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
- Ability to commit to a long-term position
- Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
