As a Security Officer Access Verification Specialist in Nazareth PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and drivers by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a busy distribution location.
• Monitor access control points verify credentials manage visitor and delivery check-in processes and help to deter unauthorized entry to the location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility loading areas parking areas and perimeter to identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Support shipping and receiving area operations by observing inbound and outbound traffic documenting required information and following post orders related to access and site movement.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
