Hospitalist - Physician - Mount Sinai Behavioral Health Center - Manhattan, NY

Exciting Hospitalist opportunity on a new clinical service being offered by the Mount Sinai Behavioral Health Center on the Lower East Side! The Mount Sinai Health System is looking for hospitalists to work in a new transformational, state‑of‑the‑art, community‑oriented facility for behavioral health with integrated services for mental health, substance abuse, physical health, and social service needs. Hospitalists will run the Comanagement Service for this new facility and will have opportunities for leadership, quality development, and scholarship within our Division of Hospital Medicine. Position Description Provide care for patients admitted to the psychiatric services. Work with team members in an environment dedicated to support and faculty development. Collaborate with multi‑specialty practice colleagues as an integral part of a health system. Benefit from the education, research, and clinical program of Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Part of the larger Division of Hospital Medicine in our Downtown campus and health system. Compensation range from 180K to 340K (not including bonuses/incentive compensation or benefits). Position Qualifications Medical Degree from an accredited university. New York State Medical License. Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Internal Medicine. A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team‑oriented, performance‑driven health system.
