Patient Dining Manager

Location St. Louis, MO Work Schedule Evenings, Noon until 9:00pm daily, alternating weekends and holidays Job Summary We are seeking a Patient Dining Services Manager to lead our Patient Dining Services Team in a 400‑bed Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, MO. This is an evening schedule with hours ranging from Noon until 9:00pm with alternating weekends and holidays. Key Responsibilities Establish goals and oversee implementation of patient food services needs based upon medical direction and patient population Hire, direct, coach, train, and develop around 20 patient service team members Comply with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of the diet order limitations Ensure patient services staff assists in achieving stated patient satisfaction goals Comply with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies Participate in or lead patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility‑wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs Qualifications Minimum of two years of experience in food service management, preferably in an acute care setting ServSafe® certification desirable Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical record, and diet office systems Certain positions may require Florida Level 2 background screening Benefits Medical Dental Vision Life Insurance/AD Disability Insurance Retirement Plan Flexible Time Off Paid Parental Leave Holiday Time Off (varies by site/state) Personal Leave Associate Shopping Program Health and Wellness Programs Discount Marketplace Identity Theft Protection Pet Insurance Commuter Benefits Employee Assistance Program Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) Equal Opportunity Employer Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
