Patient Care Operations Coordinator
Barnes Jewish West County is seeking a Patient Care Operations Coordinator! This individual will assist with time cards within MyTime for 130 employees across 3 departments. They also order and put away office supplies. Ideal applicants will have a background in administration and be familiar with time keeping. Schedule: M-F day shift.
Overview
Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital offers highly specialized surgical and medical services in an intimate environment and is known for outstanding patient care. With 64 private patient rooms, 14 operating rooms and four intensive care unit rooms, the facility was designed to provide a comforting environment that is innovative, efficient and centered on the patient experience. The campus features a park-like setting with landscaping and a walking path that winds through the grounds and connects to Millennium Park.
The Perioperative Services staff at Barnes Jewish West County Hospital provide excellent Surgical Care by partnering with an extraordinary team of physicians and health care professionals. They are able to offer the comforts of a small community hospital combined with the resources of the world renowned BJC HeathCare System and Washington University Medical School. Our highly educated and dedicated staff continually strive to improve the health of the people and communities they serve.
Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Serves as the primary contact and liaison between patient care areas, ancillary and support departments within the hospital. Interacts with all levels of management to coordinates business, administrative and non-patient care operational activities.
Responsibilities
- Plans, develops, recommends and coordinates processes and strategies to identify revenue opportunities.
- Collaborates with directors, managers and other disciplines to plan and implement projects related to patient care area.
- Creates effective work plans and provides input to identify correct resources, processes and space needed for the assigned patient care areas.
- Facilitates acquisition of supplies, equipment and services.

Education
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience
- 2-5 years
