CMT Project Manager

Reports to CMT Manager/TMC Engineer Position Summary The primary purpose of this position is to manage the CMT department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Follow TMC’s goals, mission, vision and values Represent the company professionally with Industry groups to maximize the company’s exposure to the Engineering and Construction Industry Promote services to existing and potential clients through calls, conferences, site visits, preconstruction meetings and regular project updates Proposal preparation, RFQ’s, business development, and maintain positive client relationships to secure geotechnical engineering and testing services Perform other special assignments and projects as assigned by President and VP Manage CMT department and personnel Follow all established policies and procedures in completing the essential duties Coordinate field activities and provide oversight of field technicians Technical ability to understand construction materials testing procedures and special inspection procedures and requirements Perform field observations during project construction Ensure that field reports are properly reviewed and reported in a timely manner and upload Public Entities Reports to the appropriate program Provide timely and accurate information on progress, reviews, observations, solutions and/or any other project related information in an understandable format Understand and comply with all TMC procedures and ASTM standards Complete all required and ongoing education and training Other duties as assigned Computer Skills Basic Microsoft and other support programs for Engineering Certificates and Licenses 4 Year Engineering Related Degree Engineer In Training Certificate or Professional Engineer Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job.
